We launched the first of our international partnerships in February 2025 and will be announcing more to follow. AUGUST 2025
We continue to grow our international partnerships to expand our offerings for our Customers. We’re now announcing our third agreement is with EVA Air, headquartered in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. This new partnership will connect itineraries between North America and Asia through shared gateway airports in Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), Seattle-Tacoma (SEA), and Chicago (ORD).
Starting August 26, bookings will be available through EVA Air’s website, booking platforms, and major travel agency platforms. We look forward to this partnership as an exciting new chapter in our ongoing commitment to international travel.
JUNE 2025
As we continue our mission to bring more choices to our Customers, we’re thrilled to announce our interline partnership with China Airlines (CAL),a Taiwan-based carrier. This agreement brings the opportunity for China Airlines’ Customers to experience our renowned Southwest Hospitality. Initially, China Airline Customers will be able to seamlessly connect from their west coast destination points at Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), Ontario (ONT), and Seattle (SEA), on through to our Southwest network. You can now book travel on or after January 19, 2026, featuring both China Airlines and Southwest Airlines, directly on the China Airlines website for a streamlined experience.
JANUARY 2025
Our first international partnership is with Icelandair®. Our interline partnership connects Customers on Icelandair into the Southwest network at Baltimore/Washington (BWI) Airport, Denver (DEN), Nashville (BNA), Orlando (MCO), Pittsburgh (PIT), and Raleigh/Durham (RDU). with future connection points planned at other airports where our networks overlap. Initially, we’re flowing Customers onto the Southwest network through Icelandair’s website and third-party booking channels. Eventually, Customers will be able to book on Southwest.com. And now, Rapid Rewards® Members who book an itinerary through Icelandair that includes a Southwest Airlines operated segment can earn Rapid Rewards points.1 For more details visit our Icelandair Partner page.
