Santa Fe, NM (September 3, 2025) — Meow Wolf has successfully recertified as a B Corporation as of
September 1, continuing its commitment to social and environmental responsibility since its initial
certification in 2017. As the first B-Corp in themed entertainment, this recertification underscores Meow
Wolf’s dedication to creating experiences that are both purpose-driven and socially conscious,
reinforcing its role as a leader in responsible entertainment.
“Meow Wolf’s recertification is a testament to our commitment to operating in a way that is responsible
to our people, planet, and the communities we call home. The years since our last recertification have
been marked by significant growth. I am proud that through it all, we continue to adhere to our most
deeply held values,” said Rebecca Campbell, Interim Chief Executive Officer.
B Corps are re-evaluated every three years across five categories: governance, workers, community,
environment, and customers. As of March 2025, less than 10,000 companies worldwide are B Corp
certified. Meow Wolf is proud to be among the organizations who integrate these principles across their
operations, embedding values at every level from artist studios to the guest experience.
On the environmental front, Meow Wolf has matured from its roots in resourceful, salvaged and
repurposed materials to developing formal sustainability protocols. We now track our energy use,
emissions, and waste and have set comprehensive reduction targets. We consider the environmental
impact of all new projects and ongoing operations.
Community investment also remains central. Meow Wolf offers thousands of free tickets annually and
has granted millions to local arts organizations since our inception. In 2023, the company launched the
Meow Wolf Philanthropic Foundation, which distributed over $600,000 in its first grant cycle.
Meow Wolf is dedicated to creating a supportive environment that allows our employees to build and
maintain world-class artistic experiences. As a growing company with over 900 employees across the
country, Meow Wolf offers a suite of support structures, including comprehensive benefits packages,
transgender-inclusive healthcare, matching donations and volunteering incentives, the ability to
participate in VOICE (employee advocacy) chapters, and access to Meow Wolf Foundation’s SAVE
Fund, which provides emergency funding to employees experiencing financial hardship.
Guest experience remains a top priority. In recent years, we have developed world-class safety
measures and customer feedback loops and have expanded accessibility efforts, including certifying all
locations as IBCCES Autism Centers, improving visitor satisfaction and access to the arts.
The company’s B Corp journey, like its exhibitions, is designed to evolve. Meow Wolf continues to
navigate the complexities of growth while holding firm to its founding commitments of equity,
sustainability, and imagination.
