ICCA at IMEX: Connecting, sharing and driving the future of business events
ICCA is once again taking an active role in shaping the conversation at IMEX America, showcasing the value of business events, and charting a course for the future of our international community.
The ICCA team is excited to connect with the global community ahead of the 64th ICCA Congress in Porto, November 9-11, where delegates from around the world will join an immersive, multi-venue Congress taking them on a dynamic learning journey through Porto.
The ICCA team are at IMEX this week to engage, share insights and highlight how ICCA supports the business events industry worldwide. Joining ICCA in Las Vegas are:

Business-driven education and events
ICCA is taking part in a series of high-impact education sessions, including When the Host Becomes the Headline: Navigating an Era of Geopolitical Uncertainty, a timely discussion on how destinations and organizers can prepare for and respond to shifting global dynamics. ICCA is also joining Grounded by Culture: Designing Human-Centric Events, exploring how culturally authentic, people-first approaches can shape more meaningful events.
Dr. Senthil Gopinath will join a panel of distinguished industry leaders for a discussion titled “Framing our Future Focus Foresight: The Imperative of Multiple Scenario Planning," focussed on the EIC’s Futures Landscapes Report findings. The panel will reflect on the 12 key forces shaping the future of the global business events industry, and participants will share how they’re expanding their strategic foresight, covering talent and workforce development, risk and security, accessibility and ESG.
ICCA North America Regional Director Shawn Cheng will also host a gathering for ICCA members to share recent meetings data in a collaborative exchange that sparks real business leads and actionable opportunities. Meet at the ICCA booth on Thursday, October 9, at 8:30am.
Networking reception
On October 8 from 3 to 5pm, ICCA invites all attendees to its Networking Reception at booth D3071. This signature gathering is a great opportunity to connect with peers, meet the ICCA team and build new relationships in a relaxed and friendly setting. Stop by to exchange ideas, strengthen collaborations and enjoy a moment of community during the busy show.
Association community
The ICCA Association community is invited to meet Kerstin Jones, ICCA’s Association Community Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to strengthen relationships, share insights and explore how ICCA can continue supporting associations in creating impactful and meaningful business events worldwide.
